Jeff Gelalich attended UCLA and helped the Bruins earn trips to the College World Series in 2010 and 2012 and was named an All-American. He has been playing professional baseball in the minor leagues since 2012. In 2013, he was ranked by MLB.com as the Reds' No. 19 prospect. and selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the supplemental first round of 2012. He is now a free agent signed with the Chicago White Sox organization. He was originally drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 41st round of the 2009 Draft, but did not sign.
